Boarding-Overnight and Day Care
We offer boarding services to our regular clients.
Our boarding is special because of the love and care that we provide. We don't have a swimming pool or plasma screen TVs, but if your pet is with us you can rest assured that he or she is being attentively cared for and we do have a great backyard for playtimes!
We only have 12 runs, so if you are a regular client and know the dates you would want to board, book as soon as you can. We like for our boarders to go home smelling fresh, so plan your pick-up time during our office hours to take advantage of your FREE boarder bath!
Grooming-
Our groomer is at Applebrook on Fridays, so please call for an appointment. You will love her work. Ask to see her portfolio! We do ask that your pet be current on basic vaccines for the safety of everyone.
Wellness Care
We offer a full range of wellness services and preventive care. We believe that prevention of disease vastly improves quality of life and it is a part of our commitment to support our clients and patients. From physical exams to vaccinations and parasite control, we have options and advice to find what is best for you and your pet. We always offer the latest advances and follow newest guidelines for all care. We have new vaccines that feature lower volume for decreased pain and possibility for side effects.
Disease Management and Diagnostics
Our easy-access facility, which began operations June 1998, includes an intensive care/recovery room, an isolation ward for infectious disease cases (to protect other pets), in-house laboratory and digital radiology (x-ray). We can do "same day" blood work diagnostics and radiology because of our in house equipment.
Surgery
Applebrook Animal Hospital features a surgery suite equipped with monitoring devices and anesthesia machines (with the same anesthestics used in human medicine). We are meticulous about intraoperative monitoring as well as postoperative pain coverage. We are not an "assembly line" surgery and we take extra special care.
Dentistry
We are one of the few local animal hospitals that features dental radiology. This is the "bite wing" x-ray that your dentist does for you. It allows us to be able to see below the gum line to assess tooth roots and bone integrity. We have an ultrasonic scaler and diamond carbide dental drill should your pet require tooth extraction.
