3 Products that have changed my life

Part of what we do at Applebrook is select pet related products to make life with pets easier and more fun. Whether trying to prevent disease or treat it, we have to work around the fact that pets do not always cooperate with what we want.
1. Pill Pockets- This product changed my life first when I had a cat suffering from heart failure. His name was Coyote and he was so sweet. He was affected by this disease far too early in his life and I knew that it was a progressive and terminal process. To slow the process, he needed several oral medications. I told myself that I would not ruin what remained of his life by shoving pills down his throat several times a day. This is how I discovered Pill Pockets. Coyote loved them and met me at the cabinet every dose! He thought he was luckier than the other cats. If your pet will eat these, they will make everyone's life better.
2. Oral parasite control- For years, I have used the topical products and they are safe and effective, but I dearly love being able to give parasite control as a treat. I like to be able to mark things off my To Do list and when I give one pill that covers things, I can mark off several at once! I give my dog, Dora, a Trifexis pill every month all year long and I never have to worry about fleas, heartworms or intestinal parasites.
3. Invisible Fence- I love being able to let my dog have what appears to be free run of my yard, but still keep her (and my flowers) safe. It is easy to keep maintained and if there is a problem, I can call and get very prompt service. I tried the self installed versions and there is no comparison to the name brand. I do not have to worry about her digging out or hurting herself on metal fencing.
My life runs at a very hectic pace. I love things that make it easier to do what the right thing by my pets. If you have questions, do not hesitate to comment here and I will do my best to answer. I do not recommend products that I have not personally tried, so I am happy to share my experience with you.
Happy Easter!
